What sets Winter, Wyman apart from other staffing firms is the caliber of our staff. Led by a senior leadership team with an average of 20 years with the company, the median tenure for our employees is more than eight years. In an industry known for its high turnover rate, this is a major accomplishment and a fact in which we are incredibly proud.
Winter, Wyman was founded in 1972 by Dave Melville who named his startup after the two streets that intersected in front of his office. Dave continues to serve as Chairman of the company. Starting with five employees, Dave has grown Winter, Wyman into one of the largest privately-owned staffing firms in the Northeast. Over the years, his entrepreneurial spirit has resulted in the establishment of seven corporations under The Winter, Wyman Companies umbrella. His insistence on always putting the customer first, and developing managers and staff that executed in this fashion, has resulted in the company gaining its sterling reputation. Dave's personal belief in giving back to the community is reflected in the company's community development initiatives. Dave is a graduate of Boston College and Harvard Business School's Owner/President Management Program. After Boston College, he served five years as a Naval Aviator in the U.S. Marine Corps attaining the rank of Captain. Prior to founding Winter, Wyman, Dave worked for the placement firm of EP Reardon Associates.
Bob Boudreau, CEO, oversees all strategic planning and operations and leads the senior management teams for all The Winter, Wyman Companies. Bob has over 17 years experience in the staffing industry and has held the position of Winter, Wyman’s CEO since 2002. Bob joined Winter, Wyman in 1992 as Controller and was promoted to CFO in 1995. Prior to joining the firm, Bob held senior financial positions with Millipore Corporation, Charles River Data Systems and Olympic Systems. Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a Concentration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and serves on the Board of Junior Achievement of Eastern Massachusetts.
Kevin Steele joined Winter, Wyman in 1978 and was initially responsible for the firm's successful start-up and entry into the Technology placement arena. Since that time, he has assumed increasing levels of responsibility and has been instrumental in directing the firm's growth and diversification resulting in Winter, Wyman’s development into a leading staffing services provider. Currently, Kevin is a member of the Board of Directors and acts as an internal consultant and advisor on strategic and operational activities. Prior to joining the firm, he was HR Manager for North American Field Operations at Data General Corporation. Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree from Providence College in Rhode Island.
As the Managing Partner responsible for permanent placements in all of Winter, Wyman's Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Investment & Financial Services and Technology disciplines, Mark Gleckman oversees the staff development, sales strategies and recruiting efforts that support our candidates and clients. Mark is also responsible for Winter, Wyman's best practice initiatives and has held a variety of senior leadership roles in his 30+ years with the firm. He is a graduate of Belknap College.
Dave Sanford is Executive Vice President of Client Relations for Winter, Wyman and oversees the firm's consultative selling, new account development and customer relations. Previously, Dave served as Executive Vice President, Client Services and Managing Partner of the Human Resources division. Dave first joined Winter, Wyman in 1986 as a recruiter in the Sales & Marketing specialty area. Prior to Winter, Wyman he held senior management positions with Wang Laboratories, BankBoston and Doubleday Publishing. Dave is a graduate of Michigan State University.
Scott Ragusa, President of Winter, Wyman’s Contract Businesses oversees the strategic direction and daily operations of three business lines: Winter, Wyman Technology Contracting; Winter, Wyman Financial Contracting; and Winter, Wyman HR Contract Solutions. Scott joined the firm in 1999 after more than five years with two national temporary staffing firms. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts and is a member of the board of directors of the Massachusetts Staffing Association (MSA).
As CFO, Bill Diana oversees all financial activities and financial planning for both the contract and permanent placement businesses of Winter, Wyman. Bill first joined the firm in 2000 as Controller and assumed the CFO role in 2006. Prior to joining Winter, Wyman, he was Divisional Controller, Individual Insurance at Sun Life of Canada in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Bill is a CPA and received his Bachelor's degree from Boston College and a Masters in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
As Senior Vice President of Corporate Organizational Development, Michelle Roccia is responsible for developing Winter, Wyman’s organizational and talent management strategies, including training and development programs for all levels of the organization. She also oversees the company’s human resources function and employee relations programs. Michelle has over 20 years of senior human resources experience, including in-depth knowledge of organizational development, employee relations, staffing, benefits, training, compensation and performance management. Prior to joining Winter, Wyman, Michelle was Vice President of Human Resources at Authoria. She has held similar senior HR roles at Centive, Inc., the Boston Stock Exchange and Kurzweil Applied Intelligence. Michelle is a member of the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and attended Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
As Director of Marketing, Elizabeth Spayne develops promotional strategies that further strengthen Winter, Wyman’s position in the marketplace. She has extensive experience designing and implementing communication programs in both the consumer and business-to-business sectors. Prior to joining Winter, Wyman, Elizabeth served as Director of Marketing for Keystone Partners, a career management firm headquartered in Boston. Previously, she was Corporate Communications Manager for CareMatrix Corporation, a senior housing developer and operator. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Providence College.
As Director of Information Systems, John Arrigo oversees the planning, management and coordination of all aspects of internal information systems and technology for all Winter, Wyman divisions. Prior to joining the firm over ten years ago, John was Network Manager for Competitive Edge Services and Vicor Corporation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, with a minor in Computer Science, from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Melissa Cappas, General Manager of Winter, Wyman's HR Contract Solutions, oversees the staffing and daily operations of our Human Resources contracting division. Melissa joined Winter, Wyman in 2004 and has eight years of operations and business development experience. Prior to joining the company, she held recruiter and staffing specialist roles with other well-known recruitment firms. Melissa has a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York College at Geneseo and is Vice President of the Human Resources Council, the longest-standing human resources professional association in Greater Boston.
Tracy Cashman joined Winter, Wyman as a consultant in 1992, and was named a Partner of the firm in 2002. In her role as General Manager of the Information Technology group, Tracy oversees the staffing and daily operations of this high-impact division. As part of her responsibilities, she manages consultants who specialize in the recruiting of information technology professionals, as well as provides direct placement services to clients. Tracy is a graduate of Connecticut College in New London, CT.
As Partner and General Manager, Stuart Coleman oversees the daily operations, business development and staffing of the Boston office of Winter, Wyman Financial Contracting–New England. Since joining Winter, Wyman in 1999 as an Account Manager with Financial Contracting, Stu has helped the company expand its financial services placement offerings and managed and mentored both recruiters and account managers. Previously, he served as the Sales Manager for Mid Atlantic Medical Services, Inc. (MAMSI) Health Plans. Stu has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He is also a contributor to Boston.com's Job Doc where he chats regularly with viewers on job search strategies.
Frank Dadah is the General Manager of Winter, Wyman Financial Contracting–New York. In his role, Frank is responsible for business development, overseeing strategy and partnering with corporate clients on their staffing needs. He also manages the division’s team of staffing professionals. Prior to joining Winter, Wyman, Frank held the position of business development manager for Creative Financial Staffing in Boston. Previously, he was division director/sales manager for a national accounting temp firm and a restaurant manager for Legal Sea Foods. Frank is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
As Managing Director, Ian Ide co-leads the operations and strategy of Winter, Wyman’s search business. A Partner in the firm, Ian also oversees Winter, Wyman's New York Technology division. Previously, he oversaw the firm’s former Metro Washington, DC division and was a Manager in Winter, Wyman’s Boston Information Technology division. Prior to joining Winter, Wyman in 1994, Ian worked for a small start-up firm in the Boston area where his role included direct sales, managing systems and software development, marketing and recruiting for the company. Ian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.
Steve Kasmouski is Managing Director of Winter, Wyman and co-leads the operations and strategy of the firm’s search business. A Partner in the firm, Steve also oversees Winter, Wyman's Software Technology group and is responsible for business development, managing the division's team of staffing professionals, overseeing strategy and partnering with corporate clients on their staffing needs. Prior to joining Winter, Wyman in 1994, Steve was a District Sales Manager at Collette Tours. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of New Hampshire.
As Partner and General Manager of the Investment and Financial Services division, Jim Langan oversees the staffing and daily operations of this high-impact group. As part of his responsibilities, Jim manages Winter, Wyman's consultants who specialize in the recruiting of investment management, mutual fund management, portfolio accounting, hedge fund, banking, investment technology and institutional investment management professionals. He has close to 20 years experience in the financial services industry, and joined Winter, Wyman in 1996 after positions with Commonwealth Financial Network, Boston Capital and Shawmut Bank in Boston. Jim is a graduate of Norwich University Military College in Northfield, Vermont.
As General Manager of Winter, Wyman Technology Contracting, Laurie Lopez is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staffing of both the New England and National Technology Contracting divisions. Laurie joined Winter, Wyman in 2003 with over 10 years of staffing, client relations and business development experience. Before taking over the Technology Contracting group, Laurie was Manager of Winter, Wyman HR Contract Solutions. Prior to joining the company, she was a National Account Manager for Rapidigm, a consulting firm specializing in business information solutions. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon and is a member of several professional associations.
In addition to being a Senior Partner, Ken Martin is the General Manager of the New England Accounting & Finance and Investment & Financial Services divisions. Ken has over 25 years of staffing industry experience, and prior to joining Winter, Wyman in 1991, was Manager of the Sullivan & Cogliano financial placement division. A Certified Placement Consultant, Ken received his Bachelor’s degree from Bentley University and served as President of their Downtown Business Association for four years.
Jonathan Mazzocchi re-joined Winter, Wyman in 2000 to establish and serve as Partner and Manager of the New York Accounting & Finance division. He has since become General Manager of the group. Previously, he was with the firm for almost four years as a Principal Consultant in the Boston
Accounting and Finance division. In between his tenures with Winter, Wyman, Jon was Director of Strategic Partnerships for Stockpower, Inc., a business-to-consumer and business-to-business e-commerce enabler and direct marketing start-up. At Stockpower, he was responsible for new business development, devising entire B2E product lines and presentations, marketing research and competitive analysis. Prior, Jon served as Stockpower’s Director of Human Resources where he built the HR function from the ground up, including all recruiting, staffing, compensation, benefits, training and development initiatives. Jon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Pre-Medical Studies from Boston College.
Beverly Morgan is a Partner and the Manager of Winter, Wyman's executive-level search and permanenet placement division. In her role, Beverly manages the division and provides senior-level placement for VP of HR, Chief Learning Officers, Director of Talent Management, Human Resource Directors and Managers along with Global Compensation, Benefits and HR Technology leaders. She also partners closely with her clients' senior leadership teams to address staffing trends, talent assessment and creative recruiting strategies. Beverly has more than 20 years of experience in the HR contingency industry, is involved with several HR professional associations and has a Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University.
Paul Norton re-joined Winter, Wyman in 2009 to serve as Vice President of Client Relations. Previously, he was with the firm for almost three years as a Senior Consultant in the Investment and Financial Services division. In between his tenures with the company, Paul was Vice President, Head of Recruiting for Eaton Vance where he oversaw hiring, implemented new recruitment strategies, built and managed a recruiting team and advanced the firm’s diversity initiatives. Paul has over 20 years of business development and talent acquisition experience and has held senior-level positions at some of the nation’s leading staffing firms. He has extensive experience developing recruitment strategies for a wide array of industries, including financial services, high tech and manufacturing. Paul earned a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College and is a member of many professional and civic associations, including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA) and the Dana-Farber Leadership Council.
As Partner and General Manager of Winter, Wyman's national Technology Contracting division, Vimal Shyamji oversees a qualified staff of recruiters who provide web & UI development contracting services on a national level. Previously, he was Principal Account Manager for Winter, Wyman’s Financial Contracting division in Boston. Prior to joining Winter, Wyman over eight years ago, Vimal was an Account Manager at Allegis Group, an international, multi-divisional staffing firm. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
As Manager of Community Development, Ruth Wyser oversees all volunteer services, committee activities and donations of Winter, Wyman’s giving back program. She is the primary liaison between the firm and partnered non-profit organizations for community service projects and donations. Ruth joined Winter, Wyman in 1998 and formerly served as the firm’s Human Resources Generalist. She received her MBA from the University of Rhode Island and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Westfield State College in Westfield, Massachusetts.
