A Foundation for Success
Winter, Wyman was founded in 1972 by David J. Melville. The basic tenets upon which Dave started the Company – professional integrity, respect for people and commitment to superior service – have never changed, and have enabled us to grow into one of the largest privately-owned staffing companies in the Northeast. Adherence to these corporate values is crucial to our organization and our clients because it is the genesis and foundation of Winter, Wyman.

For the past three years, Winter, Wyman has been among the top  "Area’s Largest Executive Search Firms" as named by the Boston Business Journal. We have also maintained a position on their  “Area’s Largest Temporary Placement Firms” list for the past seven consecutive years and have been named as one of their  “Best Places to Work” for the past several years. The Boston Globe has named us a  Top Place to Work for the past four consecutive years, including the Top Small Employer in 2009. Winter, Wyman has also been inducted into the  Boston Business Hall of Fame by Junior Achievement of Eastern Massachusetts and was recipient of the  American Staffing Association’s first Corporate Responsibility Award.
