The one piece of advice I always give to employers or job seekers is:
I always tell job seekers to prepare for the interview by researching the company, knowing what they stand for and identifying why that company might be a good fit. They should also be able to give a well-articulated explanation of where they plan to take their career.

The biggest mistake I see job seekers make is being unprepared to answer questions about themselves, what they are proud of, what they are excited to do next and where they are headed. These are things that every job seeker should spend time contemplating.

In my past life I was a wedding singer, which was as much fun as it sounds. I also have 4 children, including triplets. They are so much fun, too – wouldn’t trade it for anything!
