Job seekers need to always be current on the market and what skills make them highly desirable and employable.

Employers need to always remember that the ability to hire a top quality candidate is a "two-way street." A great candidate needs to "sell" him/herself to a company AND the company needs to "sell" the candidate from day one as to why the candidate would want to work there. Many companies do not do this and end up wondering why their offer is rejected. Simply selling the candidate after an offer is made, is in many cases, too late.
